Jakarta, November 10, 2025 — Fore Coffee has officially carried out its User Acceptance Test (UAT) for IFRS 16 in collaboration with PT Hamilton Prima Indonesia, marking another step forward in the company’s lease accounting system implementation.
This phase follows the recent End User Training (EUT) and serves as a key milestone to ensure that the Hamilton-developed system operates in line with Fore Coffee’s business needs and international accounting standards. The initiative reflects Fore Coffee’s strong commitment to efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation in finance.
Enhancing Accuracy and Compliance Through IFRS 16 UAT
The User Acceptance Test represents the final testing phase before full system deployment (go-live), where Fore Coffee’s finance and business teams directly validate the system’s functionality.
The goal is straightforward: to confirm that the Hamilton system accurately records, calculates and reports all lease transactions automatically and in compliance with IFRS 16 requirements.
Working alongside Hamilton Prima Indonesia, the Fore Coffee team tested the system across a range of lease contract scenarios that mirror the company’s day-to-day operations. Hamilton led the process, ensuring every scenario ran smoothly without disrupting existing financial systems.
Testing 14 Key IFRS 16 Scenarios
Over four intensive days, Fore Coffee tested 14 primary scenarios, covering a wide spectrum of lease arrangements. These included advance and arrear payments, tiered lease pricing, low-value assets, and contract changes such as extensions or terminations.
Hamilton ensured that each scenario produced accurate asset, liability, and financial statement calculations consistent with IFRS 16 principles. The test phase also included month-end closing and automated reporting, both critical for ensuring operational efficiency and financial transparency.
